What material is the Gardentub made of?
The Gardentub is made of polyethylene, a durable synthetic material. It is impact-resistant, hard-wearing and frost-resistant.
Can the Gardentub stay outside all year?
Yes, it can. As mentioned above, the Gardentub is made of polyethylene and is frost-, UV- and weather-resistant. To keep your outdoor tub clean, we recommend ordering a cover with it.
Are the faucet and shower included when purchasing a Gardentub?
No, you must purchase both the faucet and shower separately if you want them.
Is it possible to connect another brand of faucet or shower to the Gardentub?
No, this is not possible, because the faucet and shower are specially designed for the Gardentub.
Do you have to drill the hole for the faucet and shower yourself?
Yes, you must indeed drill the hole for the faucet and/or shower yourself. However, to make this quick and easy, the Gardentub has small markings where the hole should be drilled and a hole saw is included with purchase. Watch our instruction videos and follow the steps.
Can chlorine or other chemical cleaning products be used in the Gardentub?
No, the Gardentub is not suitable for use with chlorine or other aggressive chemical cleaning agents.
Can I swap positions of the tap and shower?
No, that’s not possible. The shower and faucet, specifically designed for the Gardentub, can only be mounted in one place on the Gardentub. However, it is possible to mount the shower at either end. Consult our installation instructions and videos for more information.
Is there a specific order for installing the tap and shower?
Yes, it’s important to install the faucet first and then the shower. This is to prevent damage to the shower.
Can I also turn the Gardentub shower around so that I have a garden shower?
Yes, by turning the mounted Gardentub shower 180 degrees you have a beautiful outdoor shower!
How do I clean my Gardentub?
Use a synthetic cleaner (which is also suitable for garden furniture) in combination with water and a soft sponge. Clean the surface and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives, as these can damage the surface.
Can I heat the water in the Gardentub?
Yes, you can heat the water in different ways. Read our article in the Installation & Maintenence section and discover the three heating options.
Where can I see the Gardentub?
You can see the Gardentub in our warehouse in Altea – Spain. Please fill-in the contact form to make an appointment for a visit.

What tools do I need to assemble the Gardentub and accessories?
Auralis Living supplies all the tools for mounting the Gardentub and accessories, except for a (cordless) drill for drilling holes for mounting the tap and/or shower.
How do I connect the Gardentub tap and shower to the water supply?
The Gardentub tap and shower are supplied with a Garden coupling to which the garden hose can be connected.
Why are prices in Spain and Portugal higher than at Gardentub.com?
The following factors contribute to this:
- The Gardentub products are manufactured in Tilburg, the Netherlands. Due to the complex production process, it is not possible to produce the Gardentubs closer to the specific market, and they must therefore be transported over long distances;
- The size of the Gardentub requires custom-made pallets, which means transport cannot be carried out with the most efficient Euro pallets, increasing costs.
- To ensure fast delivery and optimal service, local storage facilities, including staffing and equipment, are required. The associated costs must be reflected in the final product.
Although the base costs for Gardentub products are higher in Spain and Portugal, the costs, including transport, are still more advantageous if the Gardentub products were transported individually from the Netherlands.
Can I order Gardentub products from Gardentub.com in Spain or Portugal?
No, that’s not possible. Gardentub.com / Riho International products is not equipped to deliver Gardentub in Spain and Portugal due to, among other things, different regulations regarding transport and packaging.
Requests for delivery to Gardentub.com to Spain and Portugal will be forwarded to Auralis Living.
